Cats spend a lot of time sleeping. When cats aren’t trying to lie across their owner’s computer keyboards, they love to get into dresser drawers, high places, and suitcases for a little nap.
Making an official cat bed out of an old suitcase is a natural. Some of the artisans of Etsy are doing just that: Suitcases are retrofit with legs and bedding, sometimes given a paint job or partial rebuild. The finished pieces are feline approved and might even suit a small dog.
